Fancy sewing Pétula in lace or chiffon? A lined version is absolutely possible – and the result is simply stunning! You’ll find all the instructions (pattern adjustments, lining yardage, fabric tips) in the booklet included with your pattern.
Suggested Fabrics: Only warp and weft fabrics. Maison Fauve recommends a fabric with a supple fall that drapes beautifully: a twill, a viscose crepe or poplin, a fine jacquard or a beautiful lace, fabrics weighing 90 to 250g/m2 depending on the desired effect. If you want to line your dress they recommend cotton voile.
Fabric Requirements: For a width of 140 cm.
Sizes 34-42 : 90 cm for the BLOUSE and 120 cm for the Dress
Sizes 44-46 : 100 cm for the BLOUSE and 180 cm for the Dress
Sizes 48-52 : 140 cm for the BLOUSE and 200 cm for the Dress
You will also need:
- 40 cm of fusible interfacing (G710 recommended)
- 40 cm of shirring elastic, 15 mm wide
- 130 cm of fusible seam tape (cut-on-the-bias recommended)
Sizing: UK size 6 to 24 (34 to 52) for a height of 165cm.
